The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Monday, December 4 features Victor getting a head start on Christmas as he gathers as much of the family together as he can – and bullies the rest.
Sleigh Bells Ring, Are You Listening – To Victor?
Victor (Eric Braeden) decided a happy family photo is just what the world needs to forget that the Newmans funded a sex-ring that ended with its founder dead.
He tried to blackmail Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) into bringing the boys over, but Nick (Joshua Morrow) refused to give in, saying there’s nothing more Victor can take away from him. Oh, silly, silly Nick…
Chelsea, instead, allowed Nikki (Melody Scott Thomas) to bring Connor over. They arrived as Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) were sniping, as usual.
Later, Victor told Noah (Robert Adamson) that Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) stole Nikki’s gun and gave it to Crystal.

Noah questioned Tessa, and she assures him that she is with Noah for all the right reasons. So Victor offered Tessa $100,000 to go away. Merry Christmas!
Blood Ties
Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) wasn’t happy to hear that Lily (Christel Khalil) donated blood to save Juliet and Cane’s (Daniel Goddard) baby. Lily insisted she volunteered. When Sam needed more and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) proved not to be a match, it’s Mattie who came through with a donation, and the tot survived surgery, to Cane’s relief.
Next Steps
Earlier, Sharon (Sharon Case) was unhappy to see Scott (Daniel Hall) chatting with Abby. Then she was unhappy to see him with Victoria. But Sharon decided to kill all birds with one stone by asking Scott to move in with her. He enthusiastically agreed. Without telling her about the New York City job offer. Or the sleeping with Abby part.
