The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, June 15th features Father’s Day celebrated in unconventional ways, as Jack gets insight into Dina’s past… and his own. Also, Victor expected to be venerated, but it didn’t go exactly as planned, and Devon and Hilary had some news for the Winters family.
The Key To It All
Jack (Peter Bergman) came to see Kyle (Michael Mealor) for Father’s Day and reiterated how betrayed he felt when Kyle didn’t follow Jack’s stompy exit from Jabot.
Kyle is hanging with Dina (Marla Adams), who has yet another excuse for why she was such a horrible mother. She’s reverted to childhood and thought she was a little girl, making a Father’s Day card for the Daddy who left her. She’s sure it’s all her fault.
Oh, Jack thinks, if he’d know that then… something. He recalled how Dina always made a big dead about Father’s Day for John. She just neglected to mention that two (three?) of their children weren’t his.
Dina caught Jack looking through her things and took them back, but Jack has found a key that he thinks might lead to some answers about his paternity.

Unhappy Days
Nick (Joshua Morrow) was forced to tell Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) that Christian isn’t his biological son, and that’s why Victor (Eric Braeden) had taken him away. Suddenly, Faith wasn’t as excited about Father’s Day with Grandpa.
Abby (Melissa Ordway) brought Arturo (Jason Canela) to Victor’s celebratory lunch. The two men had it out, and Victor warned Arturo not to hurt Abby. Only Victor is allowed to do that.
Happy Family
Devon (Bryton James) and Hilary (Mishael Morgan) told Neil (Kristoff St. John) and the Ashbys that they’re back together. They’re surprisingly chill about it.
Lily (Christel Khalil) also caught Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) making out with Shauna. She’s chill about that, too.
