The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Friday, September 22 features bad decisions, as Tessa and Sharon continue their dangerous search for Crystal, and Cane recommits to his unborn son… and the baby’s mother.

While Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) impressed music promoter Irv West (Wayne Knight), Scott (Daniel Hall) recognized his “date” as the Russian call-girl he previously chatted with. Scott first tells Sharon (Sharon Case), then whispered the news to Tessa. Tessa cornered Natalia (Tina Ivlelv) and made her look at a photo of Crystal.
Natalia admitted she knows her, but that Crystal has been banished (though didn’t Zack make it sound more like a promotion?), and Natalia is too scared to say more. Scott and Sharon decided to track West’s credit card to see if that will offer them any clues.
Soft Skills… Hard Drive
Jack (Peter Bergman) took Victoria (Amelia Heinle) to dinner, and his jovial mood convinced her that her ex-stepdad is up to something. And that something might bury Brash & Sassy.

Victoria puts Billy on the job of figuring out what, and Billy, in between having sex with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), broke into her computer again. This will end well.
Out Of Place
Cane (Daniel Goddard) got relationship advice from Kevin (Greg Rikaart). Because Kevin and Lily’s (Christel Khalil) past makes him an expert? Later, he hears that Juliet (Laur Allen) is in the hospital. She has placenta pervia, which could be deadly for both her and the baby.
It came on right after Hilary (Mishael Morgan) told Juliet that Cane only saw her as an incubator. Once the baby is born, he’ll drop her like a hot potato (once again, how does Hilary think joint custody works?). Now, Cane swears that he’ll take care of the baby… and Juliet.
