The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Wednesday, April 18 features Kyle attempting to checkmate Jack and the rest of the Abbotts, Paul arriving at Victoria’s with a search warrant, and Neil getting caught up on what he’s missed at home – and at work.
Kyle (Michael Mealor) called an emergency meeting to vote on Jabot going public. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) tried to get Jack (Peter Bergman) out of jail in time to stop him.
Meanwhile, Kyle was on the phone with the judge, politely explaining that the judge’s biggest donor, Victor, would prefer Jack cool his heels a bit longer. Ashley and Abby wondered if they’re going to have to bring out the big guns, and allege that Kyle and Jack aren’t blood Abbotts.
At the meeting, it’s a tie, with only Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) left to vote. Lauren (Tracey Bregman) pressured her into voting with Kyle – as Jack burst in, claiming the vote is illegal!
Paul (Doug Davidson) had a warrant to search Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) house, looking for JT (Thad Luckinbill). Phyllis and Billy (Jason Thompson) arrived with the kids and, when Paul wasn’t looking, Phyllis snuck the fireplace poker and JT’s cell phone out of the house.
Victoria wondered if she and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) should ask Victor (Eric Braeden) for help. Nikki cautioned against it as Victor might blackmail them over it one day.
Later, Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) blamed Victoria for dumping JT, so she’s forced to tell him about JT trying to kill Victor.
Town and Country
Neil (Kristoff St. John) arrived back in Genoa City and learned that Lily (Christel Khalil) is now running a modeling agency under the Hamilton-Winters name and Hilary (Mishael Morgan) is working with them – and she might be carrying Devon’s (Bryton James) baby.
Neil is quite unpleased. About all of it.
