The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Wednesday, May 2 is unique in that it catches Paul doing some police work and questioning Victoria, Sharon, Nikki, and Phyllis about JT’s cell phone… and his. Plus, Hilary talks lies and their consequences, as she makes secret plans to pull the wool over Devon’s… sperm.
Phoning It In
Paul’s (Doug Davidson) investigation triangulates JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) cell phone to the vicinity of Victoria’s (Amelia Heile) house on the night he disappeared. Paul wondered if JT stopped by. Victoria swore he didn’t.
Paul accused Victoria of helping JT run away. She swore she didn’t. Paul wondered why Victoria didn’t tell him about the abuse until Victor (Eric Braeden) produced the video.
Victoria claimed she was protecting Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) then – but she isn’t protecting JT now. Victoria insisted she turned her phone off, so if JT called she didn’t hear him, and she deleted any texts without reading them.

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) backed up her daughter. The phone was off. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) confirmed. The phone was off. Sharon (Sharon Case) said she heard Victoria’s phone ring.
Sharon then said they can dismiss the conflicting stories by reminding that they were drunk. Nikki is supposed to be on the wagon, but they’ll deal with that.
