The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Thursday, December 21 brings matters to a boil, as Nikki learns the depths of Victor’s machinations.
Mutually Assured Destruction
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) agreed to move back onto the ranch and play happily married couple in public because Victor (Eric Braeden) told her he wouldn’t press charges against her for stealing his money.
She didn’t know that JT (Thad Luckinbill) had already broken the news to Paul (Doug Davidson) and Christine (Lauralee Bell) that no crime had been committed. Nick (Joshua Morrow) didn’t buy that his parents are back together, so Nikki told him she used Victor’s money to buy the park, and now Victor has to eat crow and not build on it.
When Nikki learns about what Victor did, she pointed out that if he tells the law about her crimes, she’ll spill the beans about him springing Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and getting Adam killed. What a well-matched couple!
Abby (Melissa Ordway) flipped out when Mariah (Camryn Grimes) suggested she was The Other Woman in Scott (Daniel Hall) and Sharon’s (Sharon Case) relationship.
She flipped out again when JT invited her to hang out because she thought he was asking her on a date. Abby is not well.
Break Up/Make Up
JT confessed to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) that he and Mac have split up. She took the kids and moved to DC. JT also lost his job, which is why he accepted the part-time assignment to investigate Victor.
He’s all alone for Christmas. Victoria invited him to celebrate with her, Reed (Tristan Lake LeBeau) and the younger kids. And maybe also a little bit to piss off Billy (Jason Thompson).
