The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, July 16 features one for the record books, as Victor was finally outsmarted – by his own son! Plus, Phyllis learned Billy’s secret, Jack got bad news, and Tessa had something new to hide.

Gotcha!
Victor (Eric Braeden) had JT in his (gun) sights, taunting him about how much of a better man Victor is, when – just like in Scooby-Doo! – JT pulled off his mask to reveal… Nick (Joshua Morrow).

Nick told his dad he’s behind all of Victor’s problems. He set Victor up to pay him back for trying to take Christian away. Victor threatened to expose him, but Nick doubted he’ll admit to being outsmarted by his loser son.

Nick confessed his plan to Sharon (Sharon Case). She actes like she is most concerned about what his scheme did to Victoria (Amelia Heinle), but it’s obvious she’s talking about herself, too.

Sharon sighed that she doesn’t know who Nick is anymore. (Like she hasn’t been lying to him, also about JT, for months.)

Forget I Said That
DNA tests proved that Jack (Peter Bergman) isn’t Phillip’s son and, suddenly, just as sure as Dina (Marla Adams) was before about having an affair with Phillip, now she’s sure that she didn’t.

What do you think? Post a comment!

Ashley (Eileen Davidson) told her brother to give up trying to find his biological father, pointing out that she knows it’s Brent, and that’s a depressing, rather than helpful, thought. Jack promised not to upset Dina anymore.

Taking a Gamble
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) was furious that Billy (Jason Thompson) has been gambling again – and keeping it a secret.

She thought he’s trying to blame Summer (Hunter King) for his slip up. Jill (Jess Walton) popped up in time to remind Billy that Victoria is single again.

Meanwhile, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) took a mysterious call about money. Then agreed with Mariah (Camryn Grimes) that they’re on a first date.
