The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Wednesday, March 21 features JT’s frustrations with his life to a boiling point.
Victor (Eric Braeden) asked Ashley (Eileen Davidson) to return to Newman. She wanted to know if Victoria (Amelia Heinle) has been fired. Victor said she has not. Ashley wanted Victoria’s former position.
Victor said she can’t have it. Ashley asked if Victoria will be answering to her. Victor said they will rarely be working together but, yeah, sure, why not?
Later, he told Victoria to take Ashley to lunch and apologize. The women sparred, with Ashley accusing Victoria of being the same insecure little girl she was when she schemed to break up Victor and Ashley’s marriage. Victoria denied.
Hitting the Wall
Victoria arrived home in a bad mood. JT (Thad Luckinbill) was in a bad mood, too, thanks to Billy (Jason Thompson) calling him a deadbeat dad and an overall loser (especially compared to the Golden Boy he was back in high school).
Plus, Victor refused to leave incriminating documents just lying around his house when JT went snooping.
JT and Victoria ended up calling each other some even worse names… which culminatedwith JT grabbing Victoria by the throat and punching the wall next to her head.
OK, JT. Game over. You can go now. And don’t come back.
Lily (Christel Khalil) called to cancel Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) artificial insemination appointment. Hilary rescheduled it.
Hilary also yelled at Lily, and she and Devon (Bryton James) finally signed their co-parenting agreement.
Meanwhile, Lily and Cane (Daniel Goddard) vowed to do anything they could to stop them. Is the Ashby marriage really on such solid ground now that they can take their eyes off the ball?
