The Young and the Restless (YR) Recap: A Suspect In Victor’s Beating!

 Comments

The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Tuesday, March 27 starts with Victor and ends with Jack, as family gathered around Victor’s bedside, and Paul gathered evidence against the man he thinks pushed Victor down the stairs.

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) sobbed at Victor’s (Eric Braeden) bedside, while Nick (Joshua Morrow) urged his dad to come back to them. So, yeah, every issue they had with him before? We can assume all is forgiven.

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) was there, too. As was Ashley (Eileen Davidson). Oh, and guess what, Ashley?

Since Victor never signed the memo demoting Victoria and promoting Ashley, Victoria is CEO now, according to Victoria! It’s Ashley’s word against hers. And the board will always believe a Newman over an Abbot!

Meanwhile, Paul (Doug Davidson) saw video of a drunk Jack (Peter Bergman), and heard Ashley’s voicemail, warning Victor that Jack was on the warpath. Sure sounds like a motive for murder!

Field Trip!
Ashley keeps dismissing Dina’s (Marla Adams) claims that John wasn’t Jack’s father, but Abby (Melissa Ordway) refuses to leave well enough alone. She took Dina to the motel where she and her mystery lover had their trysts, and Dina sobbed over her lost mystery man. Whose name she still can’t remember.

One For the Brooks!
Jill (Jess Walton) bumped into Lori (Jamie Lynn Bauer) and Leslie (Janice Lynde) Brooks, who still hate Jill from the days when she was married to their father, Stuart.

(Lori and Leslie once fought bitterly over brothers Lucas and Lance, and over custody of Brooks, the child Leslie gave birth to, but Lori raised while her sister was in a mental institution. But, we guess all that bad blood is water under the bridge now?)

Billy (Jason Thompson) learned about his mother’s past, and laughed that he obviously got his habit of dating within one family from her!

The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
