The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Friday, March 30 features Jack in jail for attempting to murder Victor – which could become a murder charge if Victor doesn’t survive surgery.
Wake Up, Sleepy Vic…
Victor (Eric Braeden) woke up just long enough to try and croak out something he wanted Ashley (Eileen Davidson) to tell Victoria (Amelia Heinle), then wass rushed into surgery for a blood clot in his brain.
Victoria wanted to know what Ashley was doing in her dad’s hospital room. More sniping occurred, followed by another of Victor’s wives, Julia (Meg Bennett), arriving. She told Nick (Joshua Morrow) what a mesmerizing presence his dad is.
She did not tell him about the time Victor locked Julia’s lover in the basement and forced him to watch Victor and Julia having sex via a live video-camera. Because that would, you know, spoil the Victor love.
Blood Is Thicker Than What Now?
Jack (Peter Bergman) whiled away time in jail by accusing Kyle of being a chip off the old Vic. Kyle was, at one point, thought to be Victor’s child. Heck, his birth name was even Christian!

Meanwhile, Ashley and Abby (Melissa Ordway) got Jack’s DNA results back, and stared at them cryptically.
An Old Fashioned
When Lily (Christel Khalil) and Cane (Daniel Goddard) locked Hilary (Mishael Morgan) in her office to keep her from making the IVF appointment, she and Devon (Bryton James) decided to have sex instead.
Hey, Lily, awesome job keeping Devon from starting to have feelings for Hilary again.
