The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Monday, May 14 features Nick and Phyllis hearing that JT’s cell phone is headed for Victoria’s house, Victor denying being the one who sabotaged Dina’s movie, and Jack finally opening his DNA results.
Where Were You On the Night Of….
Abby (Melissa Ordway) confronted Victor (Eric Braeden) about being the one to insert the clip of Dina (Marla Adams) confessing into her otherwise sycophantic documentary. Victor denied.
Kyle (Michael Mealor) lobbed the same accusation at his mentor. Victor denied even more, and managed to turn around the conversation so that Kyle ended up defending himself. Because Victor is that good. And Kyle is that… Kyle.
The Envelope, Please
Jack (Peter Bergman) ignored Billy (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis’ (Gina Tognoni) pep talks of support. They wanted to be there when he opened the test results, but Jack sent them away and went at it alone.
The DNA test says that Jack and Billy are not biologically half-brothers.
Kyle came looking for his dad and saw the abandoned results on his desk. And Jack nowhere to be found….
Kyle tracked his dad down to the Abbott house, but his pep talk did no good. Jack can’t get over how he’s now excluded from running Jabot, due to a clause he put in!
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is back in Genoa City and told Sharon (Sharon Case) that she’s now convinced that confessing to JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) murder would be a bad idea.
Victor told Victoria he feels he failed her, but Victoria reminded him that she’s a big girl. She intends to clear out JT’s office and move on.
While Phyllis was looking for Sharon at Nick’s, she learned that Nick (Joshua Morrow) has a police scanner–which reports that JT’s cell-phone is headed for Victoria’s house…
