The Young and the Restless recap (YR) for Monday, July 9 features Jack and Summer to the police station for Kyle, Nikki and Sharon worrying that a back-from-the-dead JT is going after Victor, while Hilary turns to Nate for help.
The Leg Bone Is Connected To the… DNA Bone?
Summer (Hunter King) and Jack (Peter Bergman) discussed Kyle (Michael Mealor) – they neatly duck the part where they were believed to be siblings – when they get a call. Kyle is in jail. Esther (Kate Linder) overheard him trying to dig up Phillip’s grave and called the cops.
Kyle managed to charm Esther into letting him get away with it, and Jack sent Summer home. Kyle told Jack he found a bone and Phillip’s grave. They should DNA test it, then take over Chancellor Enterprises!
Is anyone wondering how one of Phillip’s bones would have gotten OUTSIDE the coffin? Was he buried missing a leg or an arm?
It’s a Family Matter
Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) freaked out at the sight of a man they believe to be JT (Thad Luckinbill). Nick (Joshua Morrow) went looking for him at the main house, and nearly clobbered Mariah (Camryn Grimes) with a fire poker.

Nikki insisted that this is all Paul’s (Doug Davidson) fault to begin with, so they’ll be handling their problem without police help. Victor (Eric Braeden) arrived and agreed. Nikki invited him to sleep in her bed tonight, because she’s scared. Everybody wins!
House Calls
Hilary (Mishael Morgan) suffered some cramps and went running to Nate (Brooks Darnell) next door for a diagnosis.
He pointed out that he’s not an OBGYN, and he’s definitely not her OBGYN. Hilary whined that her baby is the most important baby ever conceived. And they’re family!
Nate examined Hilary and told her she’s fine. She brought up his dead fiancee and they snipe some more.
