The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Monday, October 2 delivers on Victor’s promise to teach Nick a lesson, Sharon’s promise to save Crystal, and Lily’s promise to end her marriage to Cane.
It’s Not Theft If It’s From Your Family
Victor (Eric Braeden) loves his son, Nick (Joshua Morrow), so much that he made the ultimate sacrifice — forcing Kevin (Greg Rikaart) to break the law so that Victor can siphon all of Nick’s money from his bank account — for Nick’s own good. Oh, and for Noah’s (Robert Adamson), too.
When Kevin offered the opinion that Victor is actually shattering his beloved grandson’s dreams, Victor snapped that Kevin doesn’t understand how families work.
Meanwhile, Nick opened his bank account to help Noah with a transfer… and wondered where all his money went.
Something Wicked This Way Comes
At Cassie’s grave, Sharon (Sharon Case) convinced Alice (Tamara Clatterbuck) to make Leon return Crystal. He does, but then holds Sharon at gunpoint. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) smashes him on the head with a rock, and Alice gets the gun. She tells Leon to scram and hands Crystal over to Tessa (Cait Fairbanks).
Leon called Zack (Ryan Ashton), who just told Abby (Melissa Ordway) to quit stressing about there being more men on their app than women (has she ever been to a bar?). He then told his boss they’ve got a big problem.
When the Bough Breaks
Lily (Christel Khalil) and Cane (Daniel Goddard) told the twins they’re getting a divorce. Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) thinks it’s because of Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood). Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) thinks it’s because of Juliet (Laur Allen).
Lily and Cane assured that it’s neither, and everything is going to be great! The kids weren’t amused or appeased, even when Cane promises they can still have lots of great times together.
