The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Thursday, August 31 features Faith getting her way at Nick and Chelsea’s expense, Phyllis getting her way at Michael and Lauren’s, Billy getting his at Phyllis’s expense, and Sharon going through several men before finding one who gave her her way.

Nick dismissed Sharon’s (Sharon Case) conviction that Alice (Tamara Clatterbuck) is involved with the sex-trafficking ring, so Sharon went to Scott (Daniel Hall). Scott assured her he was on board.
He believed her. Even though, earlier, he lamented to Lauren (Tracey Bregman) and Michael (Christian LeBlanc) about how complicated it is being with Sharon.
Romance Interruptus
While Scott was venting, he didn’t notice that his mom and her husband were trying to have a romantic evening. Scott left, and they got back to where they’d left off.
Until Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) burst in to bitch about Victoria. Phyllis is sure Victoria still wants Billy.
Shelf Space
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) does still want Billy. But, right now, she is more concerned about what Jack (Peter Bergman) wants. Which is to take down Brash & Sassy.

Victoria and Billy (Jason Thompson) confronted Ashley (Eileen Davidson), who swore she knows nothing about it. She also doesn’t know how Billy got his information. It was by hacking into the Jabot server on Phyllis’s computer.
Phyllis doesn’t know it either. But now Victoria knows that Phyllis met with Hochman. And the voices in her head aren’t happy to hear that.
Get a Room
Victor (Eric Braeden) decided to stop holding Faith’s bedroom furniture hostage and had it delivered to Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Nick’s (Joshua Morrow). Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) loved it! Faith is happy again! Faith stopped pouting!
Isn’t Grandpa just the very bestest person in the whole entire world? “Uh… Shmoo…” is the best Nick and Chelsea can summon up in return.
