The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Tuesday, September 5 features Hilary calling Mariah out over Tessa, Victor calling Nick out because he can, and Ashley calling Dina out over Graham — just when Graham had a shocker of his own.
Take a Look At Yourself And Make a Change
Devon (Bryton James) assured Lily (Christel Khalil) that he cares for Mariah, but he doesn’t feel like he loves her yet. Hilary (Mishael Morgan) taunted Mariah about Devon’s lack of interest, and pointed out that Mariah doesn’t seem to care too much, either. She’s more into Tessa (Cair Fairbanks) than she’s into Devon!
Family Reunion
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) voiced her opinion that their family could keep animosity to a minimum during a simple dinner. Victor (Eric Braeden) voiced his opinion that he is always right.
Nick (Joshua Morrow) voiced his opinion that Victoria was being way too optimistic about how much togetherness any of them could stomach. Victoria and Victor dined together. So did Nick and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). No one asked for a table for four.
True Confessions
Victoria didn’t tell Billy (Jason Thompson) that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) sicced Hochman (Ben Hermes) on her. But, Phyllis jumped the gun and confessed.

That lead to a fight between Billy and Phyllis about priorities, ex-wife or girlfriend, Brash & Sassy or Jabot, personal or professional. Along the way, Billy lied about how he knew what Jack was up to. The couple made up, but the issue most certainly isn’t settled for good.
Pulling the Strings
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) railed at Dina (Marla Adams) about letting Graham (Max Shippee) help her with confidential Jabot marketing reports — which meant letting Graham see confidential Jabot marketing reports.
Dina defended and stressed that Graham was an asset and no, his possessiveness isn’t creepy. Ashley should be so lucky as to have a man that concerned about her!
But then, Graham dropped a bombshell on Dina of his own — Graham has to go back to Paris for a bit. Will Dina be able to manage without him?
