The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Wednesday, December 27 features a scramble for Jabot, as Jill named a stiff price for selling him Chancellor, and Ashley came up with an even stiffer one.
The Lady Or the Company
Jill (Jess Walton) told Jack (Peter Bergman) that if he wanted to buy Chancellor Industries, then Cane has to be a part of the deal. Jack wasn’t thrilled, but ultimately agreed. Cane didn’t trust Jack to keep his part of the bargain, and Billy (Jason Thompson) told Jill about Ashley’s no-confidence vote.
Ashley convinced Lauren (Tacey Bregman) to support her CEO bid, and informed Jack she now has a quorum. Ashley forced Jack to decide – will he be taking care of Dina (Marla Adams), or running Jabot? Jack chose Jabot, and found a professional caretaker for Dina. But then Billy arrived to announce Jill had changed her mind about selling.
Lily (Christel Khalil) confessed that she wants to reunite with Cane (Daniel Goddard), but it’s hard seeing him with a baby who isn’t hers.
She’s also miffed to realize Hilary (Mishael Morgan) knows more abut the tot than Lily does. Cane pointed out it’s because Hilary asked.
Lily became convinced Hilary wants Cane. Or Devon (Bryton James). Either way, she’s unhappy about it.
Stupid Kids, Stupid Choices
Reed (Tristan Lake Lebeau) overheard that JT (Thad Luckinbill) and Mac are separated, and used that as an excuse to drive drunk. Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) tried to stop him, threatening to call the police. Reed threatenedthat he’ll never forgive her if she does. What a prince!
Mattie dialed 911 and sobbed to Lily that she’s afraid she’s lost Reed for good. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) got a call that her son has been arrested.
