The Young and the Restless Recap (YR): Billy and Phyllis Turn On Each Other!

 Comments

The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Monday, August 28 features Billy and Phyllis turning on each other (in secret), as Faith continued her run as the center of the known universe.

It’s Not Personal, It’s Business
Although he assured Dina (Marla Adams) that he’s not a petty, vindictive person, Jack (Peter Bergman), nonetheless, convinces Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) to betray Billy and pitch Lauren (Tracey Bregman) on taking Brash & Sassy off the shelves in favor of a Jabot product.

Lauren refuses, but meanwhile, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) convinces Billy (Jason Thompson) to use that password he stole off Dina on Phyllis’s computer — without mentioning it to Phyllis.

Billy agrees. He comes home and romantically sweeps Phyllis off her feet. And away from her computer. This won’t end well.

But maybe it will make Jack feel better about that tantrum he threw earlier, after not getting his way with Lauren.

The Brat Who Came Back From Camp
Dear Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind), lamp-shading the fact that you’ve been acting like a brat does not excuse the aforementioned brat-acting. Because Faith acted like a complete brat, insisting that if she’s unhappy, all life must stop until she’s happy again.

Victor (Eric Braeden) gave Faith a pep talk, which led to an apology and admitting that, perhaps, Nick (Joshua Morrow) hasn’t totally ruined her life, after all. But how long will that peace treaty last?

Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) offered Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) a sounding board regarding the situation with Faith, and then admitted that whenever he thinks about settling down and having a family — with, say, Lily (Christel Khalil) — he worries about anyone finding out about his shady past.

Keeping It Inside
Ravi (Abhi Sinha) overheard Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) argument with Dina over Ashley’s real father — but pretended he didn’t. When he asked Ashley if she wanted to discuss why she was so upset, she put him off. Is this relationship doomed before it even properly starts? Thanks, Mom.
