The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Wednesday, January 17 includes sex, lies – and murder. That’s a lot for one soap in one day–maybe.
Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) finally ended up in the same country (France), in the same room, at the same time. Talking doesn’t get them very far, so they decided to have sex, instead.
Meanwhile, also in Paris, Scott (Daniel Hall) dropped in on Abby (Melissa Ordway). They discussed the sex they had, and the sex they will not have again. Abby called Victor (Eric Braeden) and arranges for him to sell Scott Hashtag — as long as Scott runs it outside of Genoa City.
Scott suggests London. But will a mere Channel between them be enough for Scott and Abby?
Devon (Bryton James) puts pressure on Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) to write another hit song. Unfortunately, Tessa has writer’s block. And Noah (Robert Adamson) isn’t helping.
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) is still mad at Tessa for rejecting a romantic relationship between them. Tessa decided to use that anger for her own inspiration and swiped Mariah’s journal. Ha. Joke’s on Tessa.
Mariah only started journaling a few days ago, after Sharon (Sharon Case) suggested it. She hasn’t had time yet to really get going. There’s probably nothing in there beyond a grocery list and some doodles.
Till Death Do Us Part
After a disoriented Dina mistook Jack for John (did they ever really look that much alike?), Ashley (Eileen Davidson) put the deadly missing Jabot chemicals together with the syringe Graham (Max Shippee) had, and rushed over to Dina’s (Marla Adams) hotel room.
There, Graham as in the middle of injecting his wife before Jack (Peter Bergman) had their marriage declared illegal. Dina fought back and, in the process, stabbed Graham.
The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
