Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki) is making birthday wishes! She’s celebrating the anniversary of her birth, April 18th!
Fans have been captivated by the unpredictable Nikki since she joined the show in 1979 as stripper turned socialite Nikki Reed Newman!
While Nikki met the love of her life Victor in Genoa City, Scott also met her true love — former Y&R executive producer Edward Scott (now supervising producer at The Bold and the Beautiful) on the top-rated soap. The couple wed in 1985.
A native of Los Angeles, Scott ‘s first film credit was in the 1964 Alfred Hitchcock film Marnie. She continued to work in film and in episodic television series including Charlie’s Angels, The Rockford Files, and, on The Waltons, she had a recurring role.
Scott and her husband have three daughters: Jennifer, Alexandra, and Elizabeth.
