The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Wednesday, June 20 offer two unexpected twists, as Victor is shocked by a piece of news, and Cane is equally surprised by an out-of-the-blue request.

If there is one rule Victor (Eric Braeden) lives by – no, not that silly I’ll do anything for my family shtick, no one believes that anymore; even Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is looking close to rolling her eyes every time he pulls out that old chestnut – it’s that Victor is in control of all things.
Thus, nothing surprises Victor. Victor does the surprising. Like that time he showed up on Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) doorstep with papers suing him for custody of Christian. Surprise!
Still, Victor is in for a few surprises. This latest step of his may be just one step too far.
