Scott (Daniel Hall), alleged brilliant reporter (who somehow still manages to get kidnapped an awful lot), took literally months to see the connection between a dating service and a sex-trafficking ring being run literally under his own nose.
It took waking up next to a dead hooker, covered in her blood, for him to click the pieces together. (Guess it’s true — all news stories are really about the author — Scott didn’t really care enough until it affected him personally).
He confronts Zack (Ryan Ashton) and accuses him of setting up the entire murder scene.
