The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Wednesday, November 8 have a case of the ‘why nots,’ as Nick tells Noah they won’t be rebuilding The Underground, Lily and Michael wonder why Cane has not shown up for his divorce hearing, and Hilary makes sure Jordan never books another job in photography — or anything else.

One Step Forward, Two Steps Back
Noah (Robert Adamson) has some awesome ideas about how they can use rebuilding The Underground as a way to test out new concepts they can then put into effect at their planned chain of clubs.

But Nick (Joshua Morrow) breaks it to him that that’s not going to happen.

After two previous rebuilding attempts, Nick is worn out and done. Or is it because he’s reluctant to collect on the insurance money — and find out his wanton match-lighting was what caused the blaze? (It was actually Dina burning a photo, but Nick doesn’t know that.)

Where, Oh, Where, Has Our Drunken Cane Gone?
Lily (Christel Khalil) waits with Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) for the hearing, which will end her marriage, to start.

What do you think? Post a comment!

But Cane (Daniel Goddard) is nowhere to be found. She wonders where he is.

Did Lily forget his drunken serenade of her the previous night? Or the sounds of sirens in the background? Cane is currently cooling his heels in jail — along with Billy. Guess that’s one way to put off the divorce you don’t really want.

Close Quarters
Maybe Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) can say hello to the pair as he drops by the police station to report a burglary in his hotel room to Paul (Doug Davidson)? Seriously? He went straight to the Chief of Police with this?

Meanwhile, Hilary (Mishael Morgan), the thief in question, is preparing to expose what she found the only way Hilary knows how — live!

The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
