The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Thursday, January 4 hint at long-term problems for Nick and Chelsea, while Jack and Ashley come closer to an understanding, and Scott continues his forgiveness tour.

Nick (Joshua Morrow) was supposed to be home in time to watch Conner and Christian while Chelsea (Melissa Claire Eagan) went to her business meeting with Lauren (Tracey Bregman) at the club.
However, Nick’s newfound love of public green-spaces forced Chelsea to bring the boys along with her. Then the pair was distracted by Sharon and Abby’s catfight, complete with Scott breaking it up. In the meantime, Christian wandered off.
Chelsea calls Nick and the two frantically search for the tot. Nick, naturally, blames Chelsea. And she is to blame. But will the stress force Chelsea to blurt out an even bigger secret about Christian? One that there is, honestly, no coming back from for the couple?
Brothers and Sisters
Ever since Jack (Peter Bergman) spitefully blurted out that John was only his father, not Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson), then followed it up with a rider that claimed only a blood Abbott could run Jabot, it’s looked like his relationship with Ashley was beyond repair.

However, there appears to be a thaw on the horizon. Especially if they’re going to need to join forces again to protect Dina (Marla Adams) from Graham (Max Shippee).
To Forgive Is Divine
Scott (Daniel Hall) confessed to Sharon (Sharon Case) that he didn’t just kiss Abby (Melissa Ordway) — he slept with her, too. But now Scott would like Sharon’s forgiveness, please.
It wasn’t even Scott’s fault, really. He and Abby were trapped together in close quarters wondering if they were going to live or die. Under such circumstances, sex is practically required by Genoa City — and all daytime drama — law! Ask anybody….
