The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Monday, October 2 kick off a new month with Cane getting a kick in the teeth after Lily announces she wants a divorce, and Sharon kicking and screaming to get away from the thug who’s got Crystal!
Family Meeting
The Ashby twins have to know something is up when Mom and Dad — who don’t even live in the same house anymore — call a family meeting.
Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) probably thinks it has something to do with her and Reed (Tristan Lake Lebeau). Because teenagers think everything is about them.
Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) probably thinks it’s so they can tell him how awesome he is. Because teenagers also think they’re awesome.
Nope. Lily (Christel Khalil) wants to tell her kids that she and Cane (Daniel Goddard) are getting a divorce.

Lily tries to sell it like it’s the best thing for all of them. But that’s going to be tough, considering Cane is sitting on the other end of the couch, disagreeing with everything she says, and practically wrapped up in a sobbing, fetal ball.
The kids are going to suspect their parents aren’t in agreement on this. And they wouldn’t be kids if they then didn’t try to use it to their own advantage.
New York Is Closer Than It Used To Be
Alice (Tamara Clatterbuck) told Sharon (Sharon Case) and “Cassie” that Crystal (Morgan Obenreder) is in New York. Alice called the thug holding her.
