It turns out Gloria doesn’t just want a job–she NEEDS one. The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal Glo is broke, and not just by Genoa City standards. She doesn’t even have enough cash to buy herself a cup of coffee!
Is This Why She’s Back?
Unfortunately, it seems Jeffrey (Ted Shackelford) was a busy man swindling away his wife’s vast fortune. Trips, cars, and risky bets quickly sent Gloria’s (Judith Chapman) bank account into the red.
She needs some cash and can’t wait too much longer. Her bills are piling up, and if she can’t get her good buddy Jack (Peter Bergman) to help her out, she’ll need to find herself a job.
Bills, Bills, and More Bills!
She can’t even rely on her youngest son to give her a free ride. Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) don’t mind her staying with them, but she has to pay her own way!

When Chloe presents Glo with her half of the household bills, Gloria starts to panic! She can’t afford to pay for her own snacks, much less rent, but there’s no way she wants her children to know she’s penniless!
A Bad Rep!
However, Gloria’s scammer ways are finally catching up to her. Finding someone who’ll take a chance on hiring her won’t be easy. Gloria’s going to have step up her game if she’s ever going to live in the lap of luxury again.
