In Gloria’s (Judith Chapman) mind helping Jack means giving Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) a break. She knows her daughter-in-law is under stress financially and emotionally from watching Fenmores decline.

Lauren loves her family business but it’s not serving her the right way anymore. So instead of helping Lauren crawl out of this hole Glo is going to relieve her from the crashing company altogether.

A Lucrative Con!
However doing a good deed isn’t the only motivating factor. Gloria needs an infusion of cold hard cash to make her way in the world without mooching off her son. She needs a job and some money to get her going while she builds her life back up sans Jeffrey (Ted Shackelford).
Is Gloria Really This Dirty?
Of course Jack (Peter Bergman) is remaining skeptical of the evildoer. Gloria is a well-known con artist and he’s staying on high alert. What she’s promising may sound great but it’s all about the delivery and he’s not sure his ex-mother-in-law doesn’t have another trick or two up her sleeve.
Gloria has played a double agent before and she could very well be doing just that right now. If Jack isn’t careful he could find himself in hot water.
