Sparks are flying between Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and the closer they get, the harder it is to stay just friends. And frankly, Nick is no longer interested in being just friends. He’s hoping to change their arrangement.
An Accidental Valentine’s Date?
Nick’s ready to take the next step and hopes Chelsea is on the same page! He proposes going out to dinner and letting nature take its course. However, he makes one massive mistake — he doesn’t check the calendar!
Today is Valentine’s Day in Genoa City, and there’s no way Chelsea is starting her life with Nick on the most romantic evening of the year.

It’s not that Chelsea doesn’t want to try too. Despite being Adam’s (Justin Hartley) brother, Nick is a great catch. He’s kind, he’s loving, and he’s a great dad. Any woman would be lucky to catch his eye.
Chelsea knows something is going on between them, and she’s feeling the spark too. But, the timing is all wrong!
Can He Change Her Mind?
If Nick wants to make this relationship work he needs to take a step back and let Chelsea have some space. Being alone on the day of hearts, candy, and roses is hard, but being with her late husband’s brother would be awkward at the moment. But it is possible she may change her mind?
