The Young and the Restless, like many soaps, has its share of couples who can’t live with — and can’t live without — each other.
Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Billy (Jason Thompson), Jill (Jess Walton) and Kay (the woman is dead and Jill still won’t stop yelling at her)….
And then there’s Nick and Sharon. These two have been at it since high school. I love you, I love you not. I’ll marry you, I’ll marry you not. They’ve wed each other’s siblings (more than once) and bedded each other’s friends. They share children and memories and regrets.
It’s that last one that seems to rear its head every time one or the other finds a new love, and we launch on a new round of What Could Have Been? Currently, Nick has started dating Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). Meanwhile, Sharon’s husband Dylan (Steve Burton) has left her. Will Sharon set her sights on Nick again? Over 7,000 viewers think they know the answer!

I Saw Him First!
Nick (Joshua Morrow) may not have been Sharon’s first love (she did already have a baby — well, as we later found out, she had two — before she’d met him). But Sharon was pretty much Nick’s first major relationship (she had to be, the year before they met, he was 10 years old… and blond). As far as Sharon is concerned, that gives her first refusal on him whenever he’s single, and 49% of you expect Sharon to exercise her rights to that.
All the Single Ladies
Why would Sharon (Sharon Case) want to bother with another relationship right now, 26% of fans wonder. She’s just been through the wringer with Dylan, and Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) is being even more of a pain than usual. Sharon should concentrate on herself and enjoy the single life for a bit!
