The Young and the Restless recap (YR) for Tuesday, June 12 features with Nick and Victor fighting over custody of Christian.
War of the Newmans
Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) battled it out in front of the arbitrator. Nick pointed out that Christian’s biological parents, Adam and Sage, wanted him to raise the boy.
He’s the legal father. He’s the physical parent. And Victor is… horrible. And old. And horrible.
Under cross-examination, Nick admitted that Victor does have a good relationship with his other children, which isn’t even true. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) currently resents him, and so does Abby. And he caused Adam’s death! This is not a good track record.
Jack (Peter Bergman) got a pep talk from Summer (Hunter King), the daughter he once thought was his but it turned out she isn’t, about how to deal with Daddy Roulette.
He’s hardly the only one in Genoa City who’s had to face this. Summer claims she learned a lot about herself by taking a time-out, and Jack should do the same.
Billy (Jason Thompson) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) asked Jack to return to Jabot by going over all of his previous accomplishments. Jack was touched that they appreciate him, but said he doesn’t think he can find happiness through work anymore.
Another Fine Mess You’ve Gotten Us Into
Arturo (Jason Canelo) lamented to Abby (Melissa Ordway) that life seems to be conspiring against him, lately.
His paperwork is being gone over with a fine tooth comb, and he just got pulled over by the cops. Abby told Arturo it’s not life that’s out to get him. It’s Victor.
