The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, May 13 features an hour that finally allows viewers to set eyes on the new Adam, now played by Mark Grossman.
Sharon tried to convince her ex to come home while Nikki filled Victoria, Nick, and Billy in on what Victor has been up to. Meanwhile, Summer tried to distract Kyle from Lola.
Adam insisted to Sharon (Sharon Case) that he didn’t remember anything from before the explosion. She wondered why he was holding onto a photo of Christian, but Adam said it’s because he feels sorry for a little boy growing up without a father. Sharon didn’t correct him.
Sharon did ask Adam to come to Genoa City to see if it triggered his memories. Adam sais he’d= think about it, then looked at the picture of Christian and packed a bag.
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) were cynical about Adam’s return — and his claim of memory loss. They were furious with Victor (Eric Braeden) about keeping Adam a secret for months, but Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) defended her husband.
Victor was only doing what he thought was best! She also revealed that Victor talked to his friend, the governor, and all charges against Adam from before have been dropped.
Billy (Jason Thompson) vowed to protect his family from the big, bad Adam. Nick recalled how angry he was about Sharon’s relationship with Adam.
Sink Or Swim
Summer (Hunter King) interrupted Kyle (Michael Mealor) frolicking in the pool with Lola (Sasha Calle) to claim there was an emergency at work, and Kyle needed to dry off and come with her. Kyle made a call proving Summer’s lie and continued making out with the no-longer-virginal Lola.
Summer left in a huff, then called Theo, the social media guru, to come to meet her.
