The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, May 2 features Rey and Sharon leaving for Las Vegas to track down Victor…who was hunting a runaway of his own.
Plus, Kyle and Lola made love while Summer admitted it would be nice to have Kyle crawl back to her, and Lauren supported Jack through a crisis with Dina.
You Must Remember This
Sharon (Sharon Case) tagged along as Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) went to Las Vegas to investigate Victor (Eric Braeden). Paul (Doug Davidson) wasn’t happy to hear about it from Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott).
Paul reminded Rey he’s supposed to be looking for who attacked Lola. Rey told Paul to forget about Rey returning to the force.
Meanwhile, Victor consulted with the memory retrieval psychiatrist and they played the pronoun game about treating “him” and how “he” has escaped.
Victor tracks “him” (or someone) down and urges him to open the door — Victor said he wasn’t a threat. We’re thinking it’s Adam. Who else thinks it’s Adam? Oh, and that would make the “Queen of Las Vegas” Nikki heard about Chelsea (Melissa Claire Eagan).
Kyle (Michael Mealor) planned a romantic evening for Lola (Sasha Calle), at the end of which they made love.
Summer (Hunter King) told Nick (Joshua Morrow) her marriage was over. Nick wanted to kill Kyle, but Summer insisted she was the one who had the upper hand by politely walking away.
Nick wondered if she was staying at Jabot as a way to win Kyle back. Summer shrugged innocently. She did admit it would be nice to have Nick come crawling back to her. Shame her liver wouldn’t be able to do the same thing.
A quickly deteriorating Dina (Marla Adams) mistook Lauren (Tracey Bregman) for Jack’s (Peter Bergman) girlfriend. Lauren played along and Jack thanked her for her support.
