The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, January 17 features the fallout from Nikki telling Nick she killed Victor
Plus, Sharon and Phyllis wondered where that left them. Also, Victoria got a shock from Billy and turned to Cane, as Ana continued lying to Devon, making Fen wonder why.
Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) newfound conviction that Victor (Eric Braeden) didn’t kill JT (Thad Luckinbill) prompted Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) to demand to know if Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) spilled their secret to her son.
Nikki insisted she had to, the poker proves they’re being stalked by someone who knows what they did. Phyllis insisted to Sharon (Sharon Case) that the Newmans will hang them out to dry. Nikki assured Sharon she can trust her.
Later, Nikki was at home when she heard a noise. Nikki grabbed her gun, and fired at the shadows!
Billy (Jason Thompson) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) were happy taking their burgeoning relationship slowly, when Phyllis spitefully told Victoria Billy only went back to her because Phyllis turned him down right before that. Billy confirmed, and Victoria stomped out.
She shared her pain with Cane (Daniel Goddard), who unloaded about his disheartening visit with Lily (Christel Khalil).
He feels she’s pushing him away, and growing more distant from their family. Victoria offered her sympathy and the two kissed. Again.
Neil (Kristoff St. John) advised Devon (Bryton James) to sign a contract with the mystery songwriter behind Fen’s (Zach Tinker) hit. Devon didn’t want a repeat of the Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) situation.
But, when Devon approached Ana (Lorna Lott) about contacting her friend, she said he wanted to be paid before he writes anymore music. Devon suggested a buy-out and Ana agreed, prompting Fen to wonder why Ana – er, her friend – would do anything so stupid.
Devon asked Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) to help him track down the writer.
