The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, February 7 features Michael frustrated by his Newman clients, as Mariah and Mia stuck their noses into Kyle and Lola’s business, and Summer took advantage of the fall out.
Honesty Is the Wrong Policy
Sharon (Sharon Case) apologized to Nick (Joshua Morrow) for passing the recording of him and Victor (Eric Braeden) talking about JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) death onto Rey (Jordi Vilasuso).
How dare she put her job and obeying the law over the Newmans? Nick generously forgave her.
Later, even as Victor and Nick insisted the tape is doctored, Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) wanted to see some proof beyond their word. Michael old Victor his trial will be tomorrow.
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) fretted, especially when Michael asked the Newmans for the truth. Or, at least, something Michael can use in Victor’s defense. The recording equipment ain’t going to cut it. Victor told him to claim conspiracy, and then vowed that no one will be punished for this crime!
Bad Advice
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) saw Kyle (Michael Mealor) chatting with Summer (Hunter King) and decided he needed to hear her advice on relationships.

Later, she asked Sharon why some people insist on sticking with those who are bad for them. Sharon had to bite her tongue to keep from mentioning Tessa (Cait Fairbanks). While she looked longingly at Rey.
Meanwhile, Lola (Sasha Calle) admits to Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) that she’s a virgin. Mia strongly advises Lola to fix that if she wants to hold onto Kyle.
Kyle wondered if maybe he and Summer had more in common than him and Lola – and no, it’s not just sex, despite Mariah’s confidence that she totally knows what Kyle should be doing. When Summer texted Kyle to ask him out for drinks, Kyle was happy to join her.
