The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, September 20 features more than one way to skin a Newman. Plus, both Sharon and Victoria received offers they couldn’t refuse, and Shauna got a surprise.
D(on) N(ot) A(ccept) Test
Jack (Peter Bergman) asked Abby (Melissa Ordway) to grab him some Victor (Eric Braeden) DNA. She wouldn’t. Jack then made an attempt to pocket Victor’s lunch napkin. He failed.
So, then Jack invited Victor’s brother, Matt, to do the honors. Victor caught them together and ranted and railed about his disloyal brother. Which one, Vic?
Victor left. Jack begged.
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) continued stressing so Nate (Brooks Darnell), in his ongoing attempt to figure out what he’s doing on the show, offered to teach her some Tae Kwon Do moves.
He claimed it would make her more balanced. He even had an extra uniform handy! In her size! And warm up? Who needs a warm up? Just start kicking!
Meanwhile, Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) offered Sharon (Sharon Case) a job with the Genoa City Police Department. Sharon said no.
Victoria urges Sharon to go for it. She’d be able to keep an eye on Rey, and have access to case files and other inside information. Sharon said yes.
Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) planned a birthday surprise for Shauna (Camryn Hamm). Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) took her to a spa while managing to mention how much she misses doing it with her mom.
When Devon (Bryton James) learned about Shauna’s big day, he planned a surprise party. At the party, Devon read the strangely specific list Hilary (Mishael Morgan) made when deciding whether Shauna should move in with them.
He also awarded her the Hilary Curtis Hamilton Memorial Scholarship, which will cover all four years of college. No nepotism there.
