The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, February 21 features a day of confusion, confrontations, and tears. Kyle was upset about not being able to visit Lola in the hospital, while Rey came up with a suspect in her attack.
Plus, Mariah wondered why Phyllis was the only one of the four women not in prison, and Devon managed to make Lola’s condition all about himself.
A heartbroken Kyle (Michael Mealor) was banned from visiting a comatose Lola (Sasha Calle). Her doctors suggested he ask her brothers for permission.
Too bad for Kyle, neither Arturo (Jason Canela) nor Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) were in the mood to hear what Kyle had to say. Rey talked to Kyle and Abby (Melissa Ordway) about what happened at the cabin, and came to the conclusion that Summer (Hunter King) attacked Lola.
Oh, come ON. Are we really going to do this? Considering what a fuss Abby made over giving Lola her coat right after Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) got drunk and vowed to stand up to the spoiled princess, then Lola raised the infamous coat’s hood so that you couldn’t see who was wearing it…Summer? Really?
But today, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) wanted to know why her mom was still in jail… and Summer’s mom wasn’t. Summer suggested maybe it’s because Phyllis isn’t guilty? Nah, Mariah didn’t think that’s it.
Feeling Your Pain
Devon (Bryton James) tried to pressure Ana (Loren Lott) into performing again, completely oblivious to her feelings.
However, when it came to his feelings, Devon managed to put them center stage, when a visit to Lola in the hospital turned into Devon reminding everyone how no one has ever suffered a loss like he did with Hilary.
