The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, May 10 actually features Victor yielding control to Sharon over Adam, Lola, and Abby confronting Rey over Mia as Paul came asking questions, and Summer turning down a plea from Phyllis.
Staying Out Of It
After mumbling his usual platitudes about how much he loves his family, how nothing was more important to him, and how he only wants what’s best for them, Victor (Eric Braeden) admitted that he is likely what’s keeping Adam from reaching out.
He agreed that Sharon (Sharon Case) should attempt to contact him alone. Victor left, which only a tiny veiled threat.
Adam texted Sharon to set up a meeting. She arrives and saw a packet of Newman family photos lying in the trash. The only one Adam held onto was Christian’s.
Sharon turned around and comes face to face with her presumed dead ex! (Eh, it’s happened before.)
Lies Within Lies
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) admitted to Lola (Sasha Calle) that he also knew about Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) attacking her, and, in fact, Rey was the one who came up with her alibi and convinced Arturo (Jason Canela) to back it up.
He then jumped on the fastest flight back to Genoa City from Las Vegas in history to plead his case to Lola and Abby (Melissa Ordway). Abby said she’d keep quiet for the baby’s sake, but, if the police asked her to back up Arturo and Mia’s alibi, she wouldn’t lie.
Paul (Doug Davidson) arrived at Mia’s to question her and told her the story she was telling was full of holes. Mia coincidentally doubled over in pain.
Bad Day
Summer (Hunter King) had to put up with important social media people gushing over Lola’s food, and also with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) suggesting Summer help her spy on Jabot.
