The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, September 19 features Sharon graduating from college… as Rey has a job offer for her (with a hidden motive).
Plus, Kyle showed Ashley evidence of Billy stealing money from Jabot, as Phyllis confessed she’s actually not on board with her boyfriend blowing through money like it’s nothing.
Headed For the Future
Sharon (Sharon Case) gave the commencement speech at her graduation – in, uh, September, when most people start school, not finish it – and Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) later toasted her achievement at home.
At the same time, Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) was convincing Paul (Doug Davidson) that their best bet for finding JT (Thad Luckinbill) is to crack Sharon. And he had a great idea: Let’s hire her as a victim’s advocate at the police station… and exploit her!
Gloria (Judith Chapman) refused to give Kyle (Michael Mealor) access to Billy’s (Jason Thompson) wire transfer, and Kyle warned her that her boss will leave her to take the fall for her loyalty.
Kyle got the info anyway and presents it to Ashley (Eileen Davidson). Billy is stealing from Jabot. It’s time for them to bring him down!
We’re All In This Together!
Billy translated Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) confiding in him about her showdown with Summer (Hunter King) as an invitation to lay all his cards on the table – as it were – and confess that he’s joined a new, huge gambling organization.
He’s down six figures now – oh, and that’s just a monthly fee – but the money will start rolling in any second now!
Phyllis was less than thrilled and conveyed her concerns. Billy threw a tantrum that she’s no better than Victoria (Amelia Heinle): She just wants to change him, too! Phyllis had better make up her mind: Is she willing to encourage all his stupid decisions or not????
