The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, January 3 features a confession from Reed, followed by an even more surprising one from Nikki.

Plus, Jill returns home with a confession of her own, and Nick and Victor form an alliance.

Reed It And Weep
Billy (Jason Thompson) told Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) he understands guilt. He still blames himself for Delia’s death.

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) thanked Billy for his support and they danced around the possibility of giving their relationship another chance – though the timing is terrible.

Cane (Daniel Goddard) came over and, after confirming he and Victoria never kissed, suggested that Reed and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) confess to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), and let her decide how the boys should be punished.

Nikki forgave the boys and admitted she was drunk and didn’t look where she was going. She agreed that Reed and Charlie should be punished by their families, not the law.

After the boys left, Nikki told Victoria that Reed has the right idea. Nikki wants to confess to killing JT (Thad Luckinbill).

Still Jill
Jill (Jess Walton) admitted to Cane that she and Colin (Tristan Rogers) are on a break. She needs someone more reliable. She also couldn’t hide her glee about Billy breaking up with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and possibly reuniting with Victoria.

Father/Son Reunion… Kind Of
Victor (Eric Braeden) wanted to know if Nick (Joshua Morrow) killed JT. Nick couldn’t believe his dad would ask that!

Victor was confident Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) won’t be able to come up with enough evidence to convict him. Why should Rey be different from any other law enforcement officer?

Nick offered to help his dad, and Victoria swore he can be trusted. Victor told Nick to figure out who killed JT and set the stables on fire. Sure, Nick shrugged. No problem. How hard could it be?

The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
