The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, October 9 features Ashley having very little time to enjoy her new position as CEO of Jabot, as the wolves start circling.
Plus, Nikki received the same note as Victoria, and Summer spied on Kyle.
Don’t Look Down, It’s a Long, Long Way To Fall
Neil (Kristoff St. John) congratulated Ashley (Eileen Davidson) on her new job. Ashley gave a speech to the Jabot employees about her vision for the company. She’s going to focus more on R&D and kill the Jaboutiques.
Kyle (Michael Mealor) showed Ashley research that convinced her to keep them open. Ashley complimented Kyle on his work, and he asked to be her COO. She admitted she doesn’t trust him because of how he drove Billy (Jason Thompson) back to gambling.
Kyle accused her of using him as a hatchet man and then sticking a knife in his back. He stormed out, anticipating the day when Ashley is exposed for who she really is.
Ashley was having dinner with Neil when her consultant, Andrew, arrived, pulling her aside and asking for a raise. As in double.
Ashley countered with, how about zero, since she won’t be needing him anymore. Andrew wondered if she also expected her activities to stay secret.
Kyle went out with Lola (Sasha Calle), and they had a nice time. Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) filled Sasha in about Kyle once dating Summer (Hunter King), and she questioned him about it. Later, Lola kissed Kyle – while Summer watched.
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) shared the note she got, and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) tried to convince her it could be a prank.
Later, Nikki got a note of her own, and Victoria was sure it’s connected to JT. Nikki wanted her daughter to leave town, but Victoria resisted. She feels like she’s trapped in a nightmare!
