The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, April 5 features Nick and Victoria letting new loves into their lives — for a brief time, anyway. Plus, Phyllis lamented to Jack about how everyone was against poor her, and Cane whined to Traci about Lily.

Love Is All Around
Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Rebekah went to his place, where he told her about his days running The Underground, and that was enough to get Rebekah to jump into bed with him.

After, Nick asked her to stay the night, but Rebekah said she sleeps better in her own bed. Nick was miffed.

Brandon dropped by to visit Victoria (Amelia Heinle). He gave her more VIP tickets to his next show, and also mentioned that he runs a tech company. That was enough to get Victoria to jump into bed with him.

Brandon was gone the next morning, but guess who was at Victoria’s door — Billy (Jason Thompson)! He was worried she was having too much fun and came to put a stop to that.

Everybody Hates Phyllis
Phyllis (Gina Togoni) pouted upon seeing Nick with Rebekah. She then pouted to Jack (Peter Bergman) that they were both fooled by Kerry (Alice Hunter), but Phyllis got fired while Jack got a promotion.

She pouted that no one appreciated what she tried to do for Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and the rest. She pouted about Summer (Hunter King) possibly going to work for Jabot and accused Jack of using her daughter against her. Because it’s all about Phyllis.

She even asked Jack to sell Fenmore’s so Phyllis could run it with Lauren (Tracey Bregman). He said no. More pouting.

Nothing Doing
Cane (Daniel Goddard) lamented to Traci (Beth Maitland) about Lily (Christel Khalil) wanting a divorce. Traci offered platitudes her own family wouldn’t listen to. Cane told the twins about the divorce but said he doesn’t intend to let their mom go.

The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
