The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, January 23 features Cane telling Victoria about Billy, Arturo questioning Mia’s rush to renew her vows, and Devon busting Ana.
Cane (Daniel Goddard) filled Victoria (Amelia Heinle) in about Billy (Jason Thompson) telling Lily (Christel Khalil) about their kiss(es). The pair wondered how it even happened – they don’t like each other!
They figure it was because both their lives are falling apart and they just needed some support.
Cane and Victoria agreed to keep their distance, and then Billy arrived. He and Cane yelled at each other some more.
Later, Victoria was furious with her ex, and told him their relationship isn’t working for her anymore. Billy countered that he loves her and that he did everything he could to make her happy. He said she’s the one who can’t care about anyone these days.
Hate the Player, Not the Game
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) apologized to Sharon (Sharon Case) for Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) springing the news of their vow renewal on her.
Meanwhile, Arturo (Jason Canela) questioned Mia suddenly deciding to hold this ceremony after Arturo threatened to tell Rey about their close encounter the other night.
Mia dropped a million names Devon’s (Bryton James) way to get him to rent her the GC dining room.
Ana (Lorna Lott) told Devon he was being played, but Devon said he sometimes just lets people get away with things, like Ana stringing him along about her songwriting friend. Devon knew it was her. So…what’s up with that?
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) was feeling pretty smart herself. She pushed Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) about how the fireplace poker ended up in her living room if Phyllis supposedly threw it in the lake.
Phyllis finally admitted she never did and yes, she planted it at Nikki’s in order to protect herself.
