The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Monday, October 9 hits the motherlode, as Victoria and Lily come to an agreement about their kids dating, Colin meets the mother of his newest grandson, and Phyllis learns Billy prioritized the mother of his children over her!
Red-Handed!
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) denied Jack’s (Peter Bergman) charge that Billy (Jason Thmopson) is using Phyllis’s computer to hack Jabot’s server (and blamed Victoria for tricking him into it), but his words hit home.
Phyllis set a trap for Billy, leaving her computer open while pretending to leave the room. Billy walked right into it, because he always thinks he’s the smartest person in (and out) the room. Phyllis saw all.
Mothers Know Best
While Billy was digging his — and her — professional grave, Victoria (Amelia Henile) was delivering the pair she caught red-handed, Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and Reed (Tristan Lake Lebeau), to Lily’s (Christel Khalil) door.
The kids expect yet another punishment but, surprisingly, their moms agreed they should be allowed to see each other. Lily promised to handle Cane.

Daddy Dearest
Cane (Daniel Goddard), meanwhile, was telling Colin (Tristan Rogers) about his new grandson. Colin introduced himself to Juliet (Laur Allen), and offered his seal of approval.
Cane admitted that Juliet has stood by him while some other women he could name — rhymes with Shmily — have not. Cane tells Juliet he’ll be thinking about her during his upcoming business trip. Juliet beams. And then, of course, here come the cramps….
Moving Out Is Hard To Do
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) pretended to be happy for Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and Noah (Robert Adamson) moving in together. Then she begged Tessa not to go. Then she pretended it was a joke. Then she pretended to be happy again. Then Tessa left. Then Mariah cried.
