The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, February 6 features Neil coming to Devon’s rescue, as dads tend to do. Plus, Fen proved he’s not ready for the big time as Lola proves she’s not ready for an adult relationship, and Summer proves she’s a brat and doesn’t care who knows it.
Not Yet a Diva
Ana (Lorna Lott) wanted Fen (Zach Tinker) to arrive early for the event where Devon (Bryton James) would introduce him to the Genoa City music scene, but a nervous Fen opted to hang with Summer (Hunter King) so he could make a last minute entrance, instead.
The idiot ends up missing his call time, but Neil was there and pointed out nobody knew who this mystery act was, so why not let Ana go on? Neil was quite the dad today as he also made sure Devon was coming out of his depression.
Ana did go on and was a big hit, but soon Fen showed up and was not happy to see her claim the spotlight.
Do You Hear What I Hear?
While monitoring the Genoa City Police Department’s tip line, Sharon (Sharon Case) received an audio file of Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) discussing getting rid of the murder weapon that killed JT (Thad Luckinbill).
Sharon asked Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) if she should just delete any dead end tips, but Rey told her no, they’ve already been logged by the system.
Sharon went running to Nick to tell him all about it. She worried Nick will be called to testify and also be charged. Nick told Sharon his suspicions that JT planted the spying equipment and faked his death.

Then, Sharon played the audio file for Rey. He was excited – this could nail Victor!
Girl Talk
Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Lola (Sasha Calle) had a double date with Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks).
Summer and Fen joined them and Summer blabbed about Kyle and Fen’s sexy modeling photos. Lola ranted about Summer and Kyle and wondered if things would be different if they were having sex. Kyle finally admitted to being a wee bit disappointed, and Lola stomped out in tears.
And their friends saw and heard everything because Lola never heard of being quiet.
