The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, April 8 features Mia’s lie becoming the truth, Billy pushing Victoria for yet another chance, and Mariah manipulating Devon for Tessa’s benefit.
Doing the Math
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) admitted to Sharon (Sharon Case) that Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) is pregnant, but he’s not sure if the baby is his or Arturo’s (Jason Canela). Sharon wasn’t pleased about being lied to, but Rey claims he just wanted her to be happy for a little while.
Sharon and Mia got into it over the baby, calling each other names until Mia doubled over in pain. Sharon called Rey, who told Mia to go to the hospital.
She freaked out but then learned she’s pregnant, after all. Twelve weeks, according to the doctor (who, shockingly, isn’t a jack of all trades Nate). How stupid is this woman?
Billy (Jason Thompson) wanted to know about the guy Victoria (Amelia Heinle) had been letting her hair down with. Victoria, quite rightly, told him it’s none of his business.
Billy pitched a reunion for the umpteenth time, and Victoria told him yet again why they just don’t work together. Brandon, the hookup, called about a poker game Victor (Eric Braeden) was sitting in on in Vegas. Victoria tried to figure out what was going on. With a recovering gambling addict. Good plan!
Sing a Song
Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) wrote another song, and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) promptly called Devon (Bryton James) to tell him he needed to record it.
Devon was hesitant, but Mariah played the “do it for me” card. Devon passed the song onto Ana (Loren Lott), who was excited to give it a shot, but Tessa felt offended at not being produced by Devon. Her sense of entitlement seemed quite impressive.
