The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, January 9 features Jack and Victor discussing his guilt or innocence.

Also, Nate once again told folks how to live their lives, Cane worried about a letter for Lily, and Lola and Kyle took their relationship to the next level.

Well, I’ll Be Damned
Jack (Peter Bergman) promised Victor (Eric Braeden) he’ll look after Victor’s family while Old Vic is serving time for murder. Victor reminded him that he is an innocent man, and will be out of his orange jumpsuit in no time.

Jack asked if Victor killed JT (Thad Luckinbill), and Victor swore he wouldn’t do that to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu). Jack noted Victor’s instincts were really off for JT – how could he be so sure he’ll be found innocent?

Family Matters
Lily (Christel Khalil) wrote Cane (Daniel Goddard) a letter lamenting how their phone calls feel so distant and how her present is beginning to feel like real life. She thanked Cane for being the world’s best husband and father.

Later, Cane let Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) and Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) bully him into attending JT’s memorial service at Victoria’s.

Taste Test
Nate (Brooks Darnell) saw Ana (Lorna Lott) with suitcases and learned that she’s moved out of Devon’s (Bryton James) after he accused her of using him. Nate felt a need to stick his nose in and reunite the siblings. His work is done.

They, along with Abby (Melissa Ordway), sampled Lola’s (Sasha Calle) proposed menu for their restaurant and couldn’t stop raving about it. (At this rate, even Gordon Ramsey wouldn’t dare yell at Lola.) They gave her a contract for much money.

Lola thanked Kyle (Michael Mealor) for his support. An overwhelmed Kyle told Lola he loves her. She admitted she loves him, too.

The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
