The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, September 24 features Billy’s intervention as Victor and Jack wait for their DNA results, and Lily almost gets a new cellmate.
It’s All About Billy
Jill (Jess Walton) being back in town prompted Traci (Beth Maitland) to move Billy’s (Jason Thompson) intervention to right now!
He wasn’t happy about it and tried to leave, but Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) insisted they stay. Jill, Traci, Abby (Melissa Ordway), Jack (Peter Bergman), Ashley (Eileen Davidson), and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) all told Billy how much they love him and how they want him to get better.
The family urged rehab, but Billy saw it as just another way to get him out of the CEO chair. Billy shouted for them all to leave him alone and stomped out as Phyllis wept prettily.
Earlier, Jack shared a drink with Victor (Eric Braeden) as they both whistled in the dark about how unlikely it is they’re brothers.
They didn’t want it to be true. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Matt didn’t want it to be true, either. But the only one who knows whether or not it’s true is Nate (Brooks Darnell) – who apparently has many, many specialties. And he entered dramatically, DNA results in his handsome hand!
Hell, No, We Won’t Go
Lily (Christel Khalil) was suffering nobly in prison when she and Cane (Daniel Goddard) got word that Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) had been arrested!
The straight-A student with dreams of the Ivy League chained herself to the prison gates to protest Lily’s sentence. She probably hopes to get a killer application essay out of it.
Cane was displeased but talked Christine (Lauralee Bell) out of pressing charges. Lily told her daughter her stunt might have made matters worse. Mattie pouted.
