The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, July 19 features the Newman family dinner at Society, who was welcome…and who wasn’t. Plus, Lola asked Theo about Kyle as Kyle warned Summer about Theo, and Michael decided to save Kevin from himself.

Dinner Time
Victor (Eric Braeden) was making nice at the dinner Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), suggested, welcoming Billy (Jason Thompson) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), and telling each family individually how much he appreciated them.

Then Adam (Mark Grossman) showed up. With Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). Nobody wanted them there. Phyllis suggested they retire to the bar, where Summer (Hunter King) was furious about her mom’s new business partner.

Threats were exchanged, and Victor confused night and day. But no fists flew, which, for this family, was a social success!

Tell Me Lies
Lola (Sasha Calle) pumped Theo for details about his past with Kyle (Michael Mealor) in New York, but Theo would only ‘fess up to some wild partying…with many hot blondes.

Kyle warned Summer that Theo was good at manipulating people, but Summer told him she wants wild and exciting over predictable and boring…like Lola — and now Kyle.

Lola asked for the whole truth. She needs to know everything about the man she’s going to marry. (When is that ever a smart idea?)

Big Brother Is Watching
Kevin (Greg Rikaart) let Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) in on his brilliant plan to take the pictures Adam gave him to blackmail the judge presiding over Christian’s custody case and use them to have Adam arrested. Michael thought it was a stupid plan and deleted the photos from Kevin’s phone.

Later, he showed up at Adam’s. Michael wanted to protect his dumb, little brother from himself. So he was there to make a deal with the Devil… er, Adam. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
