The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, March 20 finally offers a confrontation between JT and the women who buried him alive — but it’s difficult to tell which of them is at biggest risk.

Meanwhile, Victor almost blew the cat out of the bag, Phyllis insisted on helping Billy, and Jack and Kerry babysat.

Secrets All Around
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) tried to convince Victor (Eric Braeden) that she was actually trying to help Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), and Sharon (Sharon Case), when they saw a news report about the woman being fugitives.

Victor went storming into the police station, howling for Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) to do something, man! Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Billy (Jason Thompson) were there, and pull edVictor into a private room to fill him in on their plan. Victor howled some more.

Christine (Lauralee Bell) wanted to know what was going on, and Rey covered.

When Billy got home, Phyllis was there, demanding to know what’s going on. When Billy left, she followed and found Billy at the Abbott cabin and figured out what’s going on.

Inside Out
JT (Thad Luckinbill) confronted the woman and made them tie themselves up. He ranted about what they did to him, and how he was going to punish them all.

Victoria tried to invoke Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu), but JT was beyond listening. He triggered a gas leak, then screamed in pain, grabbed his head, and collapses, leaving the women tied up and coughing.

Who Cares?
While all this was going on, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Kerry (Alice Johnson) babysat Johnny and Katie, discussed the no-longer-seen Dina, and traded sexually-charged quips about the Abbott game room. It was riveting stuff.

YR is preempted for basketball on Thursday, March 21 and Friday, March 22.

The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
