The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, November 20 features a day full of lies just in time for Thanksgiving!
Mariah and Tessa continued keeping secrets from each other as Sharon did the same with Rey. Plus, Devon blew off his family, and Victoria wielded a hammer.
All Gone
After ducking the issue, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) did as Sharon (Sharon Case) requested and went to see Tessa (Cait Fairbanks). Mariah made it seem like she would consider getting back together… as long as Tessa proves Mariah can trust her again.
Tessa swore that now that she’s paid off the bad guys only she knows exist, she’ll donate the rest of the money to charity. Not good enough, Mariah said.
So Tessa handed over the flash drive with the video footage showing Sharon, Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) getting rid of JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) body.
Not the End Of the Story
After Sharon talked to Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) and he revealed that JT’s DNA was found in the dirt…but his body wasn’t…Sharon and Victoria reviewed the footage, then destroyed the flash drive.

Back home, Tessa sewed her money into a teddy bear…along with another flash drive. (Why do people on soaps always assume there is only one copy of everything?)
Mariah returned and lies that she didn’t tell Sharon that Tessa is the blackmailer. She claimed the footage came to her anonymously at GC Buzz. So, at least now they’re both lying…
Party Hearty
Devon (Bryton James) begged off joining Cane (Daniel Goddard), Neil (Kristoff St. John), and the kids in prison with Lily (Christel Khalil) for Thanksgiving by claiming he had to work.
Nate (Brooks Darnell) later caught him throwing a loud party and complained about the noise. Devon acted like he didn’t care, while we’re supposed to know he’s sobbing inside, missing Hilary (Mishael Morgan).
