The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, April 24 features a tragedy nobody expected.

Plus, Victor tried to explain himself to Victoria, Kyle came clean with Summer, and Lily returned to Genoa City…as Neil sadly made his exit.

Tell Me a Story, Tell Me No Lies
As Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Billy (Jason Thompson) got dressed to go to Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) opening, Victor (Eric Braeden) popped in, uninvited.

He told Victoria her Las Vegas pal, Brandon, had been lying to her. Victor wasn’t hitting the gambling tables, he was looking to make a real estate purchase. Billy didn’t  buy it, and neither did Victoria. She warned her dad to be careful.

Kyle (Michael Mealor) admitted to Summer (Hunter King) that Nick (Joshua Morrow) caught Kyle kissing Lola (Sasha Calle). Summer said she knows Kyle gave Lola a heart necklace, but insisted they can make their marriage work if Kyle just forgets Miss Rosales. Kyle said he wants a divorce. Summer felt used.

Coupling
Meanwhile, back at the club, Lola fretted to Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) that she’s the one Kyle wants to dump.

Lily (Christel Khalil) came to the opening with Cane (Daniel Goddard) but, as he told Traci (Beth Maitland) he won’t quite fighting for his wife. Lily told Devon (Bryton James) she’s ready to call it quits on her marriage. She was also happy to see Devon with Elena (Brytni Sharpe).

When Neil (Kristoff St. John) fails to show up, Devon popped back home to check on him, and found his adoptive dad dead.

Devon returns to Society to tell Lily, who broke down. Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry), as well as Cane, supported her. Traci tells Abby, and Ana and Abby heard the news.

The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
